The Bathtub Shantymen have no home port — and for good reason: Virton is a long way from the ocean.
Yet they row their bathtub with all the courage of seasoned sailors and dream of the open sea from smoky taverns and misty docks.
With a beer in one hand and a whisky in the other, they chart a course through every road that leads to an Irish pub.
Blending accents, traditions and a healthy dose of humour, they breathe new life into sea shanties and folk songs. Their repertoire tells tales of life at sea, larger-than-life sailors, wandering Bretons, merry captains and Irish rogues dressed in green.
Manu, Jee Bee, Seb and Duke invite you aboard their unlikely vessel for a lively voyage filled with music, singalongs and plenty of nautical mischief.
