The vaulted cellar that houses the “Bistro de l’Abbaye” may once have served as living quarters for the miller or the baker, who, during the Early Modern period, were lay workers. It was also used to store wine! An ideal setting to enjoy the Abbey’s different beers, accompanied by the refreshing sound of the river flowing beneath the feet of thirsty guests…
