Carmina Burana

Choir, orchestra, ballet !

100 artists catapult you into another universe, as this work, like no other, is first and foremost a choral piece! An exceptional show! “Everything I've written to date, and which you've unfortunately printed, can be destroyed. With Carmina Burana my collected works begin.” Carl Orff Orchestra, choir and ballet… This interpretation is outstanding! Understated, sensual, spirited, it literally explodes into communicative fireworks… Over one hundred artists, the symphony orchestra, choir and ballet … Carmina is first and foremost a choral piece! The ballet element here accentuates the piece, giving it a more physical and an even more sensual dimension! The first section of the evening is just as breathtaking...

The star Ukrainian violinist Bogdana Pivnenko and the American soprano Susan Gonzalez, both exceptionally in Belgium at the same time, will perform the spectacular pieces for choir and orchestra by Luc Baiwir, the “Symphony of the ages” and “A violin for peace”, celebrating the friendship of people beyond the Atlantic… Impressive!
